Here’s a selection of press I’ve had over the years.

Mental health awareness
I have been a media volunteer for Mind for several years now. Being a media volunteer essentially means being a case study for news stories and features about mental health. I chat to journalists about my experiences to help give readers, listeners or viewers an idea of the impact of having a mental health condition. Talking to the press has its ups and downs but I love using my voice to raise awareness.
Over the years I have done everything from podcasts to live TV.
Can Robots Love Us? (BBC Three)
This documentary was a little outside the box, but it provided me with an insight into an alternative therapy for my panic disorder. Presented by the brilliant James Young, I tried VR therapy for the first time to try and help my cleithrophobia, which means I struggle using public transport. Michael Carthy uses virtual reality, hypnotherapy and CBT to help you face your phobia in a controlled environment.
James Young explores whether robots can connect with us emotionally as well as physically, from our therapists to our companions or even our partners. Can robots love us?
The Victoria Derbyshire Show (BBC Two)
I appeared on the BBC current affairs show to do a live interview about my involvement in the Can Robots Love Us? documentary.
Rochelle discusses technology’s role in mental health with James Young following BBC Three documentary ‘Can Robots Love Us?’
A sufferer explains the stigma around anxiety attacks (Newsbeat, BBC News)
I spoke to Newsbeat as a case study following the news story that Pete Doherty cancelled gigs after experiencing anxiety attacks.
VR Therapy and Me (Mind)
I wrote this blog for the Mind website talking about my experience with phobias and panic attacks as well as what it was like to try virtual reality therapy.
I tried VR therapy for my anxiety (The Mix)
I wrote this blog for the Mix to talk about what I learnt from trying virtual reality therapy.
Was 2016 A Tipping Point For Mental Health? (Grazia, originally The Debrief)
I was quoted in this article talking about changes in views towards mental health conditions and what needs to be done to improve things for those who experience them.
I also love talking about theatre in the media. As well as the articles below, I have also featured on a live radio debate talking about theatre etiquette and my reviews have featured in the local newspapers.
Bloggers live-tweeted Avenue Q at the Churchill Theatre and the results were amazing (News Shopper)
We all know phones and theatre don’t normally go hand in hand, but I was lucky to be involved in this hilarious experiment where critics live-tweeted a comedy musical! It was really fun and our tweets were featured in the local press.
Hamilton London: tears of elation and frustration as fans clamour for tickets (Telegraph Theatre)
When tickets went on sale for Hamilton in the West End, there was quite a frenzy! One of my tweets was featured in this round-up of a day of frantic ticket purchases.
Rochelle Bisson and Caroline Hanks-Farmer (Stagedoor Discussions)
I loved this interview with Stagedoor where I answered questions about my favourite theatres, upcoming West End talent and my dream interviewee.
