About Rochelle

The girl behind it all? I’m Rochelle, a 26-year-old PR girl from London. I spend most of my time in theatres or singing loudly in my car. I’m an incredibly fussy eater. Blogging isn’t my main career (yet) so here’s my story…

I grew up in South East London before going to Nottingham Trent University to study Print Journalism. During my degree I did a lot of work experience in PR and became Head of Marketing at Fly FM, the university’s radio station. I decided to sidestep into PR and spent a year in the European PR department for New Era after graduating. Since then I have worked for two national charities as a press officer and in marketing for an independent school. I now work for a regional theatre handling press and marketing.

In my spare time I perform in musicals, my next roles being Bombalurina in Cats and Helene in Sweet Charity. I love dancing and when I have the time I enjoy skills-based volunteering; I have recently been a part of The Pack for the Rugby World Cup and a media volunteer for the 2017 IAAF and Para Athletics World Championships. My favourite volunteering experience was performing in the Olympic Closing Ceremony at London 2012.
