The Girl The girl behind it all? I’m Rochelle, a 25-year-old PR girl from London. I spend most of my time in theatres, singing loudly in my car or annoying cats that I’m allergic to. I’m an incredibly fussy eater and I’m too picky about grammar. Blogging isn’t my main career (yet) so here’s my story… I grew up in South East London before going to Nottingham Trent University to study Print Journalism. During my degree I did a lot of work experience in PR and became Head of Marketing at Fly FM, the university’s radio station. I decided to sidestep into PR and spent a year in the European PR department for New Era after graduating. Since then I have worked for a charity as a press officer and in marketing for an independent school. I now work for a national charity in the communications team. In my spare time I perform in musicals, usually with the award-winning Bromley Players. I love dancing and also spend a lot of time at the gym. When I have the time I enjoy skills-based volunteering; I have recently been a part of The Pack for the Rugby World Cup and also spent a year as a Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park Champion. My favourite volunteering experience was performing in the Olympic Closing Ceremony at London 2012.
